Kaede01 is a J-Rock/J-Pop band,
formed by students at the University of Washington, Seattle. 

Initially a passion project to express the bandmates' love for Japanese pop songs, Kaede01 quickly found a creative outlet with the local Japanese community. Kaede01 performances are staples at cultural events such as UW Japanese Student Association or Seijinshiki (Coming of Age Ceremony) USA. Through their music, the band strives to push the forefront of Japanese cultural celebration in Seattle and beyond.
Besides covers, the band also writes original J-rock compositions that incorporate elements of jazz, R&B and alt rock, representing their multicultural roots.

Kaede01’s music is inspired by Japanese artists such as Yorushika, King-Gnu, Tokyo Incidents and Zutomayo.
